My Photography Story

You know that thing that lights a fire inside of you? Your true passion in life that leaves you feeling inspired, exploding with happiness, and eager for more? For me, that thing is photography. I love everything about it and have for as long as I can remember. When my first child was born in 2007, my passion really ignited. I didn’t want to forget a single detail, and thus my camera soon became an extension of my heart. I wasn’t interested in capturing posed portraits of my kids as much as I craved capturing what made them, them. Their heart, their soul, each and every little expression…I didn’t want to forget a thing, and photographs were the next best thing to bottling them up.  

My hobby slowly evolved as others began asking if I could document their children the way I documented my own. Once I realized I could help other parents remember all their precious moments and memories, I knew what my mission in life would become. I officially opened for business in 2013 and baby step by baby step, I’ve somehow found myself not only getting to do what I love to do full time, but getting to give the gift of photos to other people. Basically, I won the dream job lottery.
