Portland, Oregon and surrounding Baby Photographer
I have photographed this sweet and silly little doll baby at 3, 6, and 9 months and it has been so much fun getting to watch her fun personality develop over her first year! Looking back over each session and seeing her expressions in each is so great because she has changed so much, yet stayed the same. I have absolutely loved catching up with mom during each session, and even photographing big sis with her for some. Working with such sweet families makes this job such a dream! Getting to visit with them for her first year session was a treat, as always.
You never quite know what to expect with a cake smash. Some babies hate it, some babies love it, and some seem indifferent. Nola, however, took love to a whole new level! This girl was passionate about smashing her cake and literally was all in – from head to TOES. haha!

When you’re so excited that you can’t help but kick and shriek! Babies are the best. 🙂
Capturing the drool is a must in my personal opinion. Because when else in life can you drool and be cute at the same time?

Yeaaahh. This cake didn’t stand a chance! I mean, why just taste the cake when you can squish your hands and feet into it, pick it up, toss it, and flip it completely over?
I think she was feeling quite pleased with her efforts here! 😉
Such a great year with this little lady, I’m so sad it’s over! But so thankful to have been able to document her along the way.
