Maternity Session at Rowena Crest in Mosier, Oregon
Want to know my very favorite location for a spring time session in Oregon and Washington? You probably guessed it already. 😉 Rowena Crest is in my number one spot! Why? Well, because it’s blanketed with the most magical sea of purple (Oregon Lupine) and yellow (Balsamroot) flowers starting at the end of April and continuing through the better part of May.
While it’s a bit of a drive, the extra time to get out to this spot in the gorge is always worth it! A bonus to this location is that in many cases, the weather out there is a big improvement from the Portland area. Aside from the gorgeous blooms in every direction, this location offers stunning views of the gorge and big, BIG skies. There’s also just something so exciting about exploring somewhere beautiful like this with the people you love. As a photographer I always appreciate locations that allow for natural exploration and adventure.
