Why Book a Professional Newborn Photographer?

You’ll have a million things on your mind after baby arrives—and trying to DIY your newborn photos shouldn’t be one of them. When you hire a professional (like me!), you’re trusting someone who’s trained to handle your baby safely, who understands light, posing, and most importantly—how to create a calm, cozy space where your baby can just be.

My sessions are relaxed, baby-led, and never rushed. I work on your baby’s schedule, allowing for feeding breaks, snuggles, and anything else they need. You don’t have to worry about a thing—just show up and soak it all in.

With a client closet full of beautiful dresses for mom, sweet newborn knits and wraps for babies, and even a small wardrobe of items on hand for your older toddler – my hope is to ease any stress that may come with preparing for a newborn session, by providing most everything you’ll need. That, accompanied by my full newborn session guide with tips and all of the information you’ll need to feel prepared, you’ll be ready for your newborn session before your baby has even arrived. My goal is always to take any burden of planning or preparing off parents’ plates, so that they can spend time focusing on adjusting to their newest little one.
